MEETINGS OF THE WATCHET MARKET HOUSE MUSEUM SOCIETY are held on WEDNESDAY evenings at 7.30 p.m. in the Methodist Schoolroom, Harbour Road, Watchet

There is a charge of £2 per non-member per meeting, (£1.00 for members) except for the AGM

12th October - Talk by Kevin Escott "West Somerset Lifeboat Service"

9th November - Talk by Chris Saunders "Pubs and Clubs of Watchet 1600 - 2011"

11th January - Talk by Tom Mayberry "The Man who discovered the source of the Nile"

8th February - Talk by Lord Chidgey "The House of Lords"

14th March ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING and presentation of accounts, followed by a talk on "Life Underground" by Mike Jones
